My approach: tailored SME mentoring

With years of experience as an executive in various food and non-food companies as well as a mentor for SME entrepreneurs, CEOs and executives, I offer more than just a listening ear. It is one ideal mix where the two sides come together. That is unique.

My mentoring is practical, goal-oriented and fully tailored to your needs to achieve finaly better results and more profits. In addition, my network can also be very useful to quickly resolve a specific question. Strong sparring partners I have ‘in stock’.

How do we address this?

My approach is hands-on, flexible and focused on tangible results. Together, we build a stronger foundation for your leadership. As a leader, you need to fit mentoring into your schedule. Each session comes with an official agenda, based on the issues you are facing at that moment. Sharpening your own input is like exercising muscles. You have to practice this on a regular basis to stay fit. Consistency is really the key here.

Specific example:

  • We start with a weekly session in which we properly analyze the question (e.g. how do I tackle problem within executive committee, where can I get myself inspired, how do I apply new strategy in the workplace, …)
  • After 2 to 3 weeks, we start defining the solution.
  • Then we look at the second phase together, e.g. setting up a meeting with specialized sparring partner for 1 specific issue, implementation workgroup for support in your team, …)

Despite that disciplined structure, we prefer to share knowledge by telling stories. Giving sincere advice based on one’s own experiences is a lot more powerful and has already stood the test of practice. No buzz words. We know from experience that working in “on call” can often be a good solution. After all, our path is not linear. There are times when there is more need than others.

We are not pompous consultants who talk first about their rate, and then about your situation. You probably know the rates of a technician and your lawyer? We review each mentor request personally and provide a customized quote. Transparent, clear and accurate.
